Not yet reviewed by legal counsel. This document describes how the service actually behaves — every statement below is accurate to the running system — but it is not a substitute for terms drafted or reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your licence and target jurisdictions. Have it reviewed before accepting real customers.

1. Eligibility

You must be of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, and gambling must be lawful where you are. By registering you confirm both. We collect this as a self-declaration at signup; we do not currently verify age or location at registration.

One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

2. How the game works

1xDice.com is a provably fair game. Before each roll the server commits to a secret seed by publishing its SHA-256 hash. The outcome is derived from that server seed, your client seed, and an incrementing nonce. You can change your client seed at any time, and when you rotate a seed pair the previous server seed is revealed so you can independently verify every roll it produced.

The theoretical return to player is 96.00%, giving a house edge of 4.00%. This applies to every bet regardless of the odds you select. Payouts are rounded down to the smallest supported unit.

Bets are settled server-side and are final once placed. A displayed balance is informational; the server's ledger is authoritative.

3. Bet and win limits

Every bet is subject to two separate limits: a maximum stake, and a maximum payout for a single bet. Both are per-currency:

ETH — max bet 1.236124, max win 12.361240
BTC — max bet 0.03611477, max win 0.36114770

The max win is enforced when you place the bet, not after it settles. A bet whose potential payout would exceed the limit is refused up front, so a winning bet is always paid in full at the multiplier shown. We never reduce a win after the fact.

4. Deposits

Each account is issued its own deposit address per supported network:

ETH — Ethereum
BTC — Bitcoin

Send only the named asset, on the named network, to its own address. Assets sent to the wrong address or on the wrong network are not recoverable. Deposits are credited after a fixed number of network confirmations. Amounts below the smallest creditable unit are retained as unspendable dust.

5. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are processed manually. Requesting one immediately debits and locks your balance; the payment is then reviewed and sent by an operator. There is no automated payout system, so withdrawals are not instant.

A rejected withdrawal is refunded to your balance in full. Once a withdrawal is marked sent it cannot be reversed.

Identity verification is required before cumulative lifetime withdrawals exceed a per-currency threshold. This applies to your lifetime total, not individual withdrawals.

6. Responsible gambling

You can set deposit and loss limits, or self-exclude, from your account at any time. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; raising one takes effect after 24 hours. Limits are assessed on a rolling 24-hour window.

Self-exclusion cannot be reversed by you. It blocks gameplay for the period you choose, while leaving you able to view your account and withdraw your remaining balance.

7. Affiliates

Referrals are attributed at signup and are permanent. Self-referral does not count. No commission rate is currently offered; referral statistics are provided for information only and do not by themselves create any entitlement to payment.

8. Accounts and closure

We may suspend or close an account for suspected fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, or attempts to manipulate the game or its payouts. Where an account is closed for reasons other than fraud, any remaining balance is withdrawable.

9. Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
